All Three Were Painted Gold,
The Metal Parts Were Plated With Twenty Four Carat Gold.
Designed Like Real Cars That Were Manufactured,
As A 1955 Bel Air Sports Model,
In A GM Auto Plant In Flint, Michigan.
Special Care Was Taken With Everything
Went Into The Vehicles.
The Three Cars Were In Parades And Shows.
Introduced To American, To The Feat Accomplished.
It Was The First Time That Any Car,
In Production Reached This Milestone.
It Stands As A Golden Symbol,
For Generous Motors And A Chevrolet Achievement.
A Lasting Tribute To Millions Of Americans
Who Made It Possible.
Original Post Card Published In 1955.
All Three Vanished After The Celebration.
Only Car One Was Found Destroyed
In A Garage Fire.
