1,768,410 Stamps Were Issued,
All On Pink Paper...
Applied On The Match Box.
Most Did Not Survive Usage,
The Stamp Was Considered Common.
Generally Thrown Away After Usage.
Remember With Three Cents You Could,
Purchase A Dozen Of Eggs At The Time.
Today, The Stamp Commands $200.00 Dollars,
Or More At Auction.
