Flat Out Stolen From The Other Guys.
Getting Dealerships
To Slide Over To Their Product Line
Was The Game, A Heavy Approach.
Packard, Studebaker, And Nash
Were The Solid Sellers That Had The Customer Care.
Something That Other Companies Had Over Looked,
The Possibility Of Becoming A Bit Responsible,
Was The Chore Of Marketing.
Instead Developing Care,
The Chase Was Share The Money.
Mailing Post Cards, Billboards, Train Stations Walls,
And The Magazines Were Jammed Photos And Illustrations.
Large Events Of Car Swapping Took Place,
Leaving The Customer Care Rides, High And Dry.
The Three Hour Rule Went Into Affect.
They Walked In And Drove Out With New Wheels.
Pushed The Imports Out The System Of Sales.
This Continued Through The Late 1950's.
Production Went Through The Roof.
1958, The Recession Set In...
The Industry Rolled Right Through It.
Offering Complete Model Changes
Nice Styles To Draw Pre Sales For 1959.
Pricing Fell To The Floor.
Financing Went Out The Door.
