Look At Features Phase

• American Photographer Mark Fisher •

Boy's Corvette Bicycle Cinderella

This Company Was The Leader

With Bike Production.

The Sales Were Basically

Just Slamming The Door.

Making Loads Of Money.

That Stop Schiwinn From Taking

Murray To Court

For The Wheel Rim Machining

That Had Been The Only

Way To Secure The Rubber Tire In Place.

Schwinn Did Not Invent This Either.

Pretty Under Handed.

The Silly Took Other Like Huffy

And AMF To Court.

When Schwinn Stole The Idea From The Other Companies.

Arthur, Schwinn Company,  Finally Got Slammed.

Then Paid Damages.

Only To Turn The Unions Onto The Other Guys.

Murray Had A War, With The Unions.

The Unions Paid By Schwinn.

Caused Deaths To Workers That Crossed The Line

And Fire Damage To The Murray Factory.

This Made The News Papers, Radio, And Television.

The Company Hurt The Progress Of Bicycle Design.

Stole The Shade Red Color From Huffy.

Only To Say It Was Opposite, Case,

The Banana Seat Was AMF's Design And The Original Frame

Design Was  By Huffy.

The Engineers  At Schwinn Borrowed

The The Streamline Look.

Basically Stole The Design.

There Was A Challenge In Court.

Fines And Damages Occurred.

It Stated That Engineers From A Bike Fair.

Bike Fair Were Theft Grounds For Competitors.

Schwinn Helped The Chinese Manufactures Get A Foot Hold

In To The American Market.

(The Part Production Quality Was Not as Good.)

By Having Production On Some Models Done In China.

The Unions Stopped Other Companies From Doing The Same Thing.

The Speed And Quality Of American Bikes Was Better.

With Upgrading Parts With Problems The Bike Parts Were Okay,

The Bikes Were Selling Like Hot Cakes.

It Seems There Was A Lot Of Cross Over Design.

Schwinn Put Everybody Out Of Business.

Too Late The Chinese Flood The U.S.

With Bad Metal Frames,

And Unreliable Bikes.

In 1992 The Company Went Bust.

Bought By Another Company.

And Still Produces Bicycles...
