Graffiti Full On - At Night - Mark Fisher's Image

Scary Graffiti

This Door Has Been Moving In A Crazy

This Door Is Very Scary!

Combination Of Different Griffito

Definition

ORIGIN mid 19th cent.: from Italian (plural), fromgraffio ‘a scratch.’
USAGE In Italian, the word graffiti is a plural noun, and its singular form is graffito. Traditionally, the same distinction has beenmaintained in English, so that graffiti, being plural, would require a plural verb: : the graffiti were all over the wall. By the same token, the singular would require a singular verb: :there was a graffito on the wall. Today these distinctions survive in some specialist fields such as archaeology, but sound odd to most native speakers. The most common modern use is to treat graffiti as if it were a mass noun, similar to a word like writing, and not to use graffito at all. In this case, graffititakes a singular verb, as in : the graffiti was all over the wall. Such uses are now widely accepted as standard and may be regarded as part of the natural development of the language, rather than as mistakes. A similar process is going on with other words such as agenda, data, andmedia.

Mark Fisher 's Image - Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren - Killer Image

Mark Fisher American Photographer

Image Captured In New York City

Late Afternoon Shoot

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren

is an Anglo-German hypercar jointly developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive,

built in Portsmouth and the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey, England.

Due to the presence of the automatic gear box, front mid-engined arrangement,

and its driving characteristics, some commentators classify

the SLR McLaren as a GT whose rivals would be vehicles like the Aston Martin DBS

V12 andFerrari 599 GTB Fiorano.

SLR stands for "Sport, Leicht, Rennsport" (sport, light, racing).

The car's base price Was GB£295,337(approx.US$450,000 or €351,269 , c. 2009)

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren was inspired by the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR of 1955,

based on the W196 F1 car, yet named after the road-going 300SL Gullwing.

Unlike most of its contemporaries,

its engine is front-mid mounted.

McLaren took the original concept car designed by Mercedes

and moved the engine 1 metre (39.4 in) behind the front bumper,

and around 50 centimetres (19.7 in) behind the front axle.

They also optimized the design of the center firewall.

On 4 April 2008, Mercedes announced they would cease production of the SLR.

The last of the coupes rolled off the production line at the end of 2007

and the roadster version was discontinued in early 2009.

The SLR sports a 232 kg (510 lb) hand-built 5,439 cc (5.439 L; 331.9 cu in),

supercharged, all-aluminium, SOHC V8 engine.

The cylinders are angled at 90 degrees with three valves per cylinder

and lubricated via a dry sump system.

The compression ratio is 8.8:1 and the bore

and stroke is 97 millimetre (3.82 in) and 92 millimeters (3.62 in),
respectively.

The Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger rotates

at 23000 revolutions per minute and produces 0.9 bar (13 psi) of boost.

The compressed air is then cooled via two intercoolers.

The engine generates a maximum power of 626 PS (460 kW; 617 hp)@6500rpm

and maximum torque of 780 N·m (580 lb·ft)@3250-5000rpm

60 mph (97 km/h) from a standstill in 3.5 seconds.

The 0 - 100 mph (160 km/h) sprint was achieved in 7.5 seconds

and a quarter mile run was completed in 11.5 seconds at 126 mph (203 km/h).

Here Is Some More Info...

The Fiat 1100D

Retaining the exterior changes of this model, in 1962 Fiat introduced the 3rd generation 1100, called the 1100D. "D" stood for Delight. It was a sober yet comfortable 4-door sedan, very similar to the Granluce but with simpler sides and a new simpler rectangular mouth. The 1100D was a successful Italian Standard in the early sixties and along with its own Estate or Family car version and a Deluxe Model that offered a higher performance with 50 hp, extra side mouldings, front bench seat with two reclining backs and carpet floor mats. These survived without any substantial alteration until 1966, when the introduction of the groundbreaking 124 model imposed a further change in styling.
